Better Threads Bash 2022

The Hempsmith Splatter Paint Jumpsuit at Better Bash 2022.

On a sunny Friday afternoon the Hempsmith Team made their way to downtown Raleigh to show off their collection at the Raleigh Redress Better Threads Bash 2022. Better Threads Bash was a celebration of creativity within the fashion textile community, here in North Carolina. There were a total of four amazing collections that showcased their eco-conscious lines (Hempsmith being one of them).

Raleigh Redress is an amazing non-profit organization that “cultivates a more responsible ecosystem for the fashion industry by educating and mobilizing consumers to be positive advocates while leveraging industry-related partnerships.” Raleigh Redress has been a major influence in the eco-fashion industry for over a decade in North Carolina. The Hempsmith Team was very grateful to be apart of their Better Threads Bash. We had an amazing time learning about their eco-fashion initiatives and showcasing our threads.

Above is some of our collection from the event. One of my favorite pieces is the profound Burlap dress with two words hand-painted on: SLOW FASHION.
